CHOOSING THE RIGHT ARRANGEMENT FOR YOUR GARAGE
| February 14, 2016The right arrangement for your garage greatly depends on the size of your garage. The key to a perfectly organized garage lies in choosing the right arrangement for your garage. Choosing the perfect arrangement depends on various factors, ranging from the size of the garage to the number of items in a garage. The size of the garage is vital to the arrangement of your garage. The basic items required for an organized garage are shelves, pegboards, hooks, nails, and cupboards. Based on the size of your garage, it is possible to add or drop an item of organizing. Based on the size, the organizing may be done in three different ways. Three broad categories of garages include small, medium, and large garages.
SMALLGARAGES
Small garages are delicate to design and organize. Small garages mean small space and more items. A garage will include many items no matter how less they may seem. Since a garage is a space where all items are stored which cannot be kept in the house, it seems to get flooded easily. First step to organizing a small garage remains eliminating the unused or unusable items. The key to keeping your small garage neat is to keep as many items as possible on the walls. Installing wall shelves are a big part of organizing a small garage. Hooks and nails are saviors of a small garage.
MEDIUM GARAGES
Medium sized garages are extremely convenient and provide a lot of space to work with. Shelves work great with medium garages. Mounting shelves on wall or installing wall or free standing shelves saves up greater space. Metal shelves hold greater items compared to wooden shelves and they can be arranged in any desired order.
LARGE GARAGES
Large garages have the greatest advantage of space. Large garages does not absolutely require you to get rid of any extra items that may not fit. Large garages are easier to work with since, storage options can be installed and can be designed as desired. The best storage option for large garages are cupboards. While shelves may work well for garages, cupboards offer more space for storage and keeps the garage work space free. Along with the cupboards, countertops is a good option for large garages. Countertops with a fixed sink is a very important installment. Not having to walk back and forth from the house saves time and keeps the garage area clean at all times.
Organizing your garage helps keep all the items you own in check and provides safety for everyone. An unorganized garage can be dangerous to be around. It is very important to de-clutter your garage before doing any work in it.
